2009 Men's Soccer Team Awards

Senior Midfielder Mamary Diarra was named the Charlie Matlack Most Valuable Player award.

Junior Forward Bannet Asingura was once again selected as the Offensive MVP. He led the team in both goals (11) and points (25). He has won the Offensive MVP award each of his three years as a Quaker. Senior Defender Will Katz was awarded the Defensive MVP. Will started all 18 games this year helping lead the team to a goals against average of 1.83

The Lauren DeCou Most Valuable First-Year Player was awarded to Jimmy Carter. The freshman defender from California made an instant impact as he started every game for the Quakers back line while contibuting 2 goals and 2 assists. The fifth award handed out was the Tom Brown Coach’s Award and that went to Felipe Buitrago.
